Who Can Apply

This award is only for students studying at UCT. To apply, you must:

Be a South African citizen
Be in the last two years of your degree
Have a GPA above 60% with no failed modules
Come from a household earning less than R1.2 million per year

Students from any UCT faculty may apply. Postgraduate students are not allowed.

If you already get funding, you can still apply. But your total support must not go beyond UCT’s approved cost of study.

About the Scholarship
